You are on my mind, sweet baby girl.
What will you look like, sweet one? Who will you be?
One thing is for sure. You will join a family of 4 stubborn, happy, close, determined, silly and God-loving Weirs. Four who anxiously await your arrival.

Today marks one week to my “due date” and the predictions are in for your arrival date, but I actually like that I don’t know when you will arrive on the scene. In a world where we ruin all of our own surprises, I love that this is one that God keeps.
I love that He alone knows what you will be like. And it will be a secret for us to discover.

I do know this: you are already loved.
That, dear one, I know.

So close now. I can feel the excitement in your anticipation!
You’re making me want another baby! Especially another little girl
I can’t wait to see her!!!! Praying for you in this home stretch!
Oh Darlene…that was beautiful and touched my heart as that’s EXACTLY how I felt with each pregnancy…we waited to find out what we were having each time which only added to that mystery of Gods design! With my 4th baby, I went the full 2 weeks over due…the Doctors worried, tried to tell me I needed to be induced, and I assured them, God was going to bring this baby on the day HE determined…that I wouldn’t be pregnant forever (and that I wasn’t going to sue them!!)…and, she was born exactly 2 weeks after the “due date”….loved it!!!
I don’t think there is anything more exciting than this waiting period…praying for peace as you wait and a safe delivery of your precious girl!!! CAN”T WAIT TO HEAR!!!!!!!!!
Your post – both the words and the pictures – made me tear up! So beautifully written. Blessings to you and your family as you await this little bundle of love! Congratulations!
What a sweet post, Darlene! I am so excited for you and your family! My own little princess was born in September almost seven years ago.
We are all eager to meet her, too and discover who she is! What a joyful time of anticipation! Can’t wait to rejoice with you at the news of her arrival!
Oh Darlene! I’m now sitting at my desk all teary eyed! God has blessed you richly, but she is also blessed to have you as her Mommy and your three men as her guardians and mentors.
Adorable Darlene! Adorable! Can’t wait to see pictures of her sweet little face.
Love. So happy for you and your family!
Not too long from now you will be holding your sweet little girl! She will be beautiful and oh so sweet just like her mom! A sweet blessing from God!
Absolutely precious, Darlene! So sweet. As much as you love her now your heart will be full to overflowing in just a few more days. She’ll be here before you know it and you will have a hard time remembering a time without her.
Definitely a God Given Blessing.
