I have had my eye on this sophisticated gray dining room for a while, and I am eager to tell you what I love and what I would ditto. But, I have never been able to identify the designer of this space, despite thorough searching. If any of you have more details on the space below, I would love to know more!!
Also, I am moving my “Room I love series” to Mondays as a part of my ditto post family, with some weeks being full “dittos,” some being “ditto-worthy designer” posts, and some being “room I love” posts. These “Room I love” posts are very similar to my dittos, but they offer a quick list of ditto-worthy features.
This is a great exercise for you as you continue to develop your own personal style: using your own favorite pictures, and making a quick list of what you actually love about the space. If you study what you love about a space, it helps you to bring what you LOVE into your own home!
Enjoy this stunning dining room, and the quick “ditto” list of why I love it.
So. Do you love it?:
{from BHG via decorpad}
WHAT I LOVE {What I would ditto!}:
1. The soothing monochromatic color scheme.

3. A circular dining table.
4. French antique chairs, covered in gray velvet.
5. Rich mahogany furniture.
6. All white flowers, overflowing in the room.
7. Ceiling to floor drapes. In silk. Oh, how I love drapes.
8. A huge gilded mirror in the dining room. Go ahead. Gild it.
9. symmetry. of course.

I to love this simply elegant designed room. The colors, the crown molding and trim details, the striped accent wall reflected in the mirror and most of all the lighting.
elegant! that is the perfect word for this room!
As elegant and sumptuous as this room is, it feels super formal to me, not comfortable enough to have a happy meal in… I would love that beautiful gray and cream combo even more with big gold frames and bright colors added, but yep those white flowers are so nice!! xo Love ditto Mondays!
I think comfy-er seats with arms and a more relaxed feel would seal the deal for me!!! Even something “boxy” to contrast all the flow and circles.
Oh yes, I love it. The color is wonderful and a round table is perfect for conversation!
yes! I love round tables too!
