I love this Plaid inspired boy’s room.
At least, that is how I see it: a room for a young man coming into his own. {Although it would make an amazing guest room as well.} I am thinking, it would be awesome to pull some of these elements into his room, a bit at a time. You know. To grow things up.
What would you ditto??

I LOVE plaid!!! The very first major furniture we ever purchased was an L couch in plaid…I LOVED it and wish we still had it!!! SO, with that room, I’d pretty much ditto the entire room, as is…maybe adding a rug under the bed (since I hate putting my feet on cold in the mornings).
I recently saw a STUNNING room in Architectual Digest that had a room with plaid rug AND plaid wall paper…the whole room worked beautifully and I wished I could find and pay that designer to do it in my home!!! So bold yet it worked so perfectly!!
Great ditto choice!!
being mad for plaid i would use these “guest room” dittos…vintage blanket with crisp white sheets (my personal favorite color for all bed linens), wood furniture, brass horn turned bedside lamp, brass floor lamp with black shade and gold lining inside shade, turned spool table legs, LOVE hunting prints and old stacked trunks-even graduated sizes. incidentally, i never saw this one so glad you used it & take care of momma as very soon you will not be sleeping enough 🙂
Very nice… I hope you got your needed Momma rest! xoxo
I would keep that whole bed, love it!!
Plaid is fun and sophisticated for a little boy!
