Bébé bébé bébé Nursery

Bebe bebe bebe nursery series

Thursdays is the day for the Bébé bébé bébé Nursery series here at FHD: featuring Girl Nurseries designed by some of the most gifted designers and creative decor bloggers from around the web. {Need some boy nursery awesomeness? Check out Bijou and Boheme‘s Baby Baby Baby Nursery series.}

Today’s designer is the awesome Amanda Eck of Amanda Carol Interiors. She blogs at Amanda Carol at Home. I just adore this girl and think so highly of her amazing style! I had a blast last year at Haven, getting to know her – but it really was not enough time. {Amanda, we MUST hang out again some time soon!}. If you do not know Amanda, hop on over to her blog and keep up with her gorgeousness!

Hello Fieldstone Hill readers!, I’m Amanda Eck from Amanda Carol Interiors and I was BEYOND thrilled to be asked by Darlene–A.K.A.- “Design Board Whisperer” to create a girly-girl nursery for her series.  My jumping off point for this space was this ah-mazing wallpaper from Thibaut!  Add some gold accents and a chic chandelier and you’ve got a space that is très glamour!!

Okay, are you kidding me??? I LOVE the feel of this BEAUTIFUL room!! One thing I love about Amanda is her ability to use large scale AND restraint. She never overstuffs a room, but then she takes the opportunity to get big and loud with special pieces. I see her signature all over this.

That wallpaper has me in a TOTAL tailspin, AND I am all about the extravagant chandelier filling up a petite nursery! This would be one stylish Bébé Bébé Bébé…. to wake up every morning of your earliest years and gaze on such glam! I just LOVE. IT. Thank you SO much, Amanda!

I think we have established that this series is going to put me into a decorating crisis mode. Yes, I may have already dreamed up my girl’s design board… but …..

Be sure to leave some comment love here for Amanda, sharing your thoughts on this beautifully designed space!

Images of :: Gown Gorgeousness

What can I say?  I have been getting my girly girl on lately {thank you SO much for all of the SWEET love on my girl’s nursery design. You know how to lift the spirits of a very pregnant girly girl, I tell ya!!}.

Does fashion inspire your interiors?  When I look at my Signature Style Board, I see that glamorous fashion has definitely shaped my style over the years:  The lush textures and sheens. The flowing fabrics and ruffled waterfalls. The ribbons and buttons. The details, embroidery and hem work. I love it all in fashion,

and I see it play out in the details of my home: nail-heads, gilded finishes, lush velvets, silk pillows, ruffle trim, grosgrain borders.

I don’t see a single reason why fashion adoration should not help to shape our Signature Styles.

Feast on the gown gorgeousness.

OH, And be prepared to tell me your fave!!:

project nursery :: my girl’s nursery design board reveal {!!!}

My Baby Girl’s Nursery Design Board Reveal

Folks. I am starting to get plump over here.

A few weeks ago, I was all cute and snazzy-bump and stuff. Now… not so much. The word puffy comes to mind. As of tomorrow, I have only 12 weeks left – and from now on, I will gain water-weight like it is my job.

So, while I don’t do pregnancy like a rockstar, I DO rock the Nesting part.

Like a drill sergeant, even.

So, starting many many weeks ago, I began gathering inspiration and making girly Pinboards. Then, I hopped on Photoshop, and began cutting and pasting and dreaming and crafting, and I came up with a design that makes my heart sing. {And makes my voice sing too, which is a good thing, because my Brahms’ Lulluby was getting rusty.}

and then, of course, I promptly began shopping. Because I rock the Nesting part.

Design Board Reveal, anyone?? May I present to you:
