In our newly-built laundry room, we had a small, blank wall. There was not enough room to put an interesting piece of furniture, or even enough viewing room to enjoy a painting.
I love practical solutions, so I decided to install these fantastic cast iron hooks, like pretty maids in a row. We use them all of the time for hanging things to dry or for hangers.
But they look their prettiest when the sit bare. Or when they have a simple, crisp linen towel hanging from them. Or when they are used to dry herbs:
I love them for their versatility.
their authentic look.
and their price.
You can find them here.
If you have never checked out VanDykes Restorers, you must. They are a great resource for old and new homes alike.
