Yesterday, I may or may not have cried in aisle 3 at the grocery store.
And, I may or may not have purchased 8 copies of Better Homes and Gardens’ January Issue.
I am so excited and humbled! What a gorgeous spread of pictures, and a fantastic article. Thank you Better Homes and Gardens.

Thank you SO MUCH, cindy!!
This article has actually led me to your site. What a gorgeous place. I’ll be stopping in again, for sure. I’m wondering if you could help me figure out where she got the Roman shades that are above the kitchen sink. I LOVE them. I’m not usually a person to 1. Copy or 2. Fixate on something I see in a magazine but I’ve been looking for something like them (fabric pattern and colors) and my eyes popped out of my head when I saw them. (My kitchen inspiration is the Athena plate previously sold at Pier 1, and I have one small window tucked between 2 cabinets above my sink. I need something with a little wow factor.) Any help would be GREATLY appreciated! Thanks.
Thank you so much, Kelly! And thank you for reading Fieldstone Hill Design blog! I am so sorry to say that the fabric was selected by my client after we finished our kitchen consultation together; so I do not have any information on that fabric for you!
Best of luck! And rest assured, there is nothing wrong with copying {or as I call it around here “ditto-ing”} … especially when you use images as a springboard for inspiration!
Live with Beauty!!!
Can’t wait to read the feedback on your article from BHG subscribers in future issues!
Oh, yes! I didn’t even think about that!
I have been drooling over your designs in my BHG January issue. These are the exact colors / fabrics I have been looking for in our family room. Where does the fabric from the curtains (the teal zigzag squarish ones) and the cobalt and white patterned ottoman come from? I need to talk to my hubby but I really want to have design service fro you! I just signed up to follow all your pinterest boards. I am so glad I found you.
Sara Walker
Thank you SO much for your kind words! I would LOVE an opportunity to work with you – I especially love working with my blog readers!
Regarding your questions: The exact details on these resources are in the back of the BHG magazine in the resources, but the ottomans are from Horchow and the curtains are from Smith and Noble.
Talk that hubby into it, Sara…. 🙂
