A Favorite Writing Corner Space:
{via Ditto-worthy designer: Tyler Dawsom}
My Because:
The perfect balance of glam and antiques// That gilded chair and amazing desk// I love an inviting secretary that is edited to perfection, ready for a brilliant thought or a quick note// The stunning blue wallpaper, fearlessly paired with green on the chair and red in the flowers // The symmetry in the art that sits in contrast with the items on the desk//

This was in a bedroom but I love secretaries and this one was given new life with white paint. Love the seat cover on the chair and how the inset of the chair is in the same fabric as the drapes. Light, airy and dynamic!!

Yes!!! Love that! And you know I love me some Eddie!! Thank you for sharing! xo
Ooh! I have that bedroom pinned, but I’ve never seen the other side of the room with the secretary desk! Lovely!
These favorite spaces are fun. Somehow I get the feeling I will end up with additions to my honey-do list…
That honey do list is always getting bigger 😉 That’s what you get for marrying a designer! xo

I love this space – so neat.tidy and colorful. That chair! Need I say more? And the rug looks perfect too – I have an old rug and would like to over dye it this color – any idea on how to?

I knew right away which writing corner I’d choose, although I think I like the one you pictured just as much! I’m just crazy about lots of color…and that patterned wallpaper…and the floral chair…and PINK 🙂
I have a beautiful sweet writing corner here at home and have pictures of it somewhere on this laptop that is taking me way too long to find. I have a dark wood secretary and hutch filled with my perfume collection. And I actually write there. It’s in a corner of our master bedroom near the sitting area windows. When I find the photo, I will post it…or take another one that isn’t lost in all of my thousands of photos here.
In the meantime, I found this on Pinterest that is nothing like my space, but I still love it. I think I have a split personality when I look at this. But if I could have a few more houses to decorate, this space would be in one of them.

I love that this space has a mix of rustic, vintage and modern elements and a pop of color from the lighting.

I love the colors, the sunny windows, and the nice, neat space to write. I hate cluttered desks!

I love the desk with a view. Clean, white, silver,gold and ghost chair-yum.

Well it is not a desk for writing, but rather a big comfy leather chair! I do my best thinking/writing/praying in a space like this. A big window to gaze out of, a great light to pull over as needed, a comfy throw to invite me into the big chair, and surrounded by books in the heart of my home. I could definitely write here!
I love the color here. I would be continually inspired. 🙂

Lovely writing areas! I like this one because of the bookcases behind the desk and that the desk is facing into the room instead of a wall. I’ve already done my office area, so haven’t really been thinking about a writing nook. I usually sit at my computer, in the living room when I want to write. My desk is a little more substantial because it’s an altered computer desk and is angled cornerwise in the room with double bookcases flanking the window.
