    Beautiful kitchen!! Do you know who designed it? I have the feeling that I saw something similar on Lauren Liess’s blog and that it’s her photgrapher’s kitchen Helen Norman I think??
    I almost want to have my cabinets painted 😉 but I don’t think my husband will say YES!!

  • Great selection, Darlene. It is a wonderful kitchen.

    I’m rebelling! lol I can’t stand white cabinets anymore and I’m really not fond of woodgrain cabinets besides, I can’t afford all new cabinets.

    I want colour and when I look at this kitchen, I feel a bit nostalgic because I remember my mom’s kitchen with it’s blue cabinets and yellow walls. They were deeper colours and I really wouldn’t want to go there, but this kitchen is such an update on colour, while it’s still rather retro.

    I love the tiling, mimicking the kitchen colours (or visa versa). The energy, brightness and freshness of this kitchen attracts me like no other has. It’s me! The cabinets going up to the ceiling are wonderful, instead of all that wasted space up top.

    Of course, my kitchen doesn’t have all those wonderful windows and there’s a wall where the island is, which I can remove. Since I don’t know the first thing about tiling, hopefully I can find a vinyl wallpaper that I love as much as the tile.

    Farmhouse kitchens are not my favorite style but I did like this one. Love the green and adore the island!! The farmhouse sink blends in nicely with the white cabinets. Love the backsplash that’s neutral enough but adds color. Like the hardware and the faucet too.

  • Thanks for doing this series! A lot of fun in my inbox every morning! Here is the link to my favorite kitchen! I love this kitchen because it has the elements of everything I love! White cabinets and walls that say clean and calm. Bright pops of color from my garden and vintage dish collections that add energy and vibe! Custom cabinetry that says so with whim and warmth and is displays my treasures as does the open shelving. Everything has it’s place in this kitchen and inspires me to bake and create for my beloved family.
