Love this headboard and how it feels like a living space as well as a resting space.
Simple, I always go back to the same bedroom for inspiration – Thomas Jefferson’s alcove bed. Even by today’s standards its still on trend, a built-in retreat and a pop of color. http://www.monticello.org/site/house-and-gardens/bedchamber Jefferson was always on a remodeling mission and one has to wonder how much sleep he really got…

Love the color scheme and the beautiful antique dresser. The material of the drapes is contemporary which I love. So peaceful and elegant at the same time.

Love the serenity in a bedroom. When it comes to bedrooms I usually choose white bedding with serene colors surrounding the bed, very simple, clean and fresh…….http://www.pinterest.com/pin/230950287115446238/

Love the mahogany, the black and white with some gold trim. Elegant
I can’t resist a bedroom with a fireplace. I would never get out of bed.

Because it is comfy, relaxing, and feels like home to me. I never tire of a classic black and white print.
I don’t have too many bedrooms on my Pinterest board, but this is definitely my favorite. I love the elegance.

Those are some gorgeous rooms! One had a lowered moulding which I really liked, so I pinned it. I really love the way these drapes are done. http://www.pinterest.com/pin/319966748500783891/
I know I’m only supposed to pick one but I just had to post this chandelier because I love it too and think the two items will go well together, even though they are totally different styles.

The ceiling, floor, fireplace, chandelier…spacious, cozy and quiet.
