A Guest Room That Will Have You Drooling
Today’s ditto post features a room that I was SO DANG LUCKY to sleep in last week. My friend Angela’s guest bedroom. I wish I could share the full reveal of every corner of this gorgeous space, but can you believe it, I did NOT take pictures. I had a snafu with my flight, and I missed out on an entire day of my precious visit to Chateau d’Angela. Instead, I soaked in every moment of my house tour sans camera… soaking in time with my precious friend.
Me and my girl at Scott’s Market in Atlanta. Oh, and Shakespeare. And some other dude:
Which by the way, if you do not yet follow Angela on her blog and on Instagram, your life is missing something.
and did I mention this???:
Yep. That would be Angela’s home that she is renovating in jaw-dropping fashion.
Which is why I am kicking myself for not taking pictures. But, I will do my best to piece together as many pics as I can from the inter webs {ahem. stolen from her Instagram account and blog} to give you a glimpse into one of the most ditto-worthy rooms you have seen in a long time!
{Ditto posts demonstrate a great exercise for you as you continue to develop your own personal style: using your own favorite pictures, and making a quick list of what you actually love about the space. If you study what you love about a space, it helps you to bring what you LOVE into your own home!}
Interior Designers need designers too, right? Do you hear me Angela!!??? Feast in this gorgeousness and you will see why I am trying to drag Angela by her hair to help me decorate my own house!!!!
So. Ditto!!!!

WHAT I LOVE {What I would ditto!}:
1. The HAND PAINTED peony wall. I. DIE.
2. The crisp bedding with gorgeous pillow detailing. And yes, I slept like a baby.
3. The stunning red bed. What guest couldn’t use a little drama? Hand delivered at Angela’s place.
4. The art. All of it. I am going to steal it.
5. The plethora of side tables, all inviting me to drop my bag down and stay a while. I think I shall…..
6. That bathroom. OH I WISH I had pictures. But do you see the little glimpse of it. That custom tile? Stalk Angela on Instagrammy to find out more. And beg her to post more pics, while you are at it.
7. Ribbon art!!!
8. The modern lines of the bed against the classic lines of the curvy-legged settee bench.
9. Oh, and did I mention THAT PEONY WALLLLLL?????????
DO YOU LOVE IT?? WHAT DO YOU LOVE? WHAT DESIGN ELEMENTS WOULD YOU DITTO IN YOUR OWN HOME? DO TELL!!!!!!
