Remember when I shared one of my big goals for my home in 2012:
Well, turns out, if you are sick on the couch for 6 straight days, you can create lots of fun Vision Design Boards. And this morning, I finished the Vision for our beloved Family/Living Room.
The board does not cover all of the changes I plan to bring to this space, but it does show the overall feel… and I am getting quite excited!

Fieldstone Hill Living Room Design Board:
Goodness!! Isn’t she perty??
In fact, hubs and I already went out to our local Benjamin Moore to pick up two colors from their new Color Stories line: “Deep Secret” for the walls, and “Museum Piece” for the coffee table re-vamp.
This room is going to require several DIY’s, so I will keep you posted along the way. I know. You are stunned.
I am particularly excited about the wall color, and how it contrasts the silk gold curtains. The room gets plenty of light, and while all of the walls in our living room will be getting the “Deep Secret” color, only one wall is a large stretch of plaster. The rest of the room has built-ins or a stone wall, leaving very little wall that we are actually going to paint.
So… four years after it was built… we are finally going to paint our favorite room in the house! We have been living with bare plaster all this time. I am so excited for the change!
What do you think, my darlings??

So rich and beautiful, the deep color will be well balanced with the stone and the built-ins! Love your design boards!

gorgeous!! love the contrast with the wall color and the curtains; i’m considering dipping a toe into a dark wall color for our bedroom, to cozy it up a bit. BIG HUGE step for me!
Oh, THANK YOU, Jennifer! I have always used neutrals in my home.. but I am thinking: “Time to take some of your own advice!” I am excited about this gutsy color!
ohhhhh I like it!! its so rich and chic. So sorry to hear you have been sick-that is no fun -especially when your the mommy-cuz when the mommy is sick the whole house falls apart (at least thats they way it is here)
Still amazes me when you can take all those different colors and patterns and BAM! Create a unique and TOTALLY gorgeous room! I am struggling a little bit in my front room with colors and patterns… ugh. Thank you for the inspiration!! Love it!

Love the colors, the sconces, and that gorgeous art!!! Did you see the Armen Living Centennial Sofa of Rue’s Curator Collection at Joss and Main (https://www.jossandmain.com/Armen-Living-Centennial-Sofa~KZU1004~E625.html)? It reminded me of your pretty sofa pick. Can’t wait to see your finished product!
Oh, Thank you, Kristen!!!!!!! You are so kind! No.. I didn’t see it. But I do love our sofa. One of the first things in my home that I made “me.”
Thanks for reading Fieldstone Hill!
Gorgeous!!! GO, PEACH!!!!!!!
Can’t wait to see the painting b&a–what an impact it will make.
I love that your sofa has that bullion fringe on the bottom. I’ve been thinking I need more of that in my life.
YAY Peach!! {suddenly, I am reminded of Mario Kart…}
Would you believe I started painting TODAY????? No one else may be shocked… but I am!!!
