Today’s designer is the Lisa Mende of Lisa Mende Design. I met Lisa via blogland, and through the Master Designer Blog Roll, and I have loved getting to know her through her blog. If you have not met her before, Lisa is an AMAZING designer, with the kindest heart, bravest of stories, and oh, this girl can ROCK a design board. You will enjoy getting to know her. I am so thrilled to have her here at FHD, and so excited to see what she has in mind for my little bébé.

Hello, I’m Lisa of Lisa Mende Design.  I am so honored Darlene asked me to participate in this series.   Darlene has impeccable taste so I was beyond flattered to be asked to design a board for her bebe girl!  When I saw this fabulous paper from Graham and Brown I knew I wanted to incorporate it in the room’s scheme, so I started from there as my inspiration. This nursery was intentionally designed to grow into a big girl room. I have been loving all the lavender I’m seeing in fabrics these days.  Isn’t lavender suppose suppose to relax and induce sleep?  Here’s hoping Darlene’s little bundle will have “sweet dreams” in this room fit for a little princess.

Oh so dreamy! And relaxing!! I love the gentle, girly nature of it all. Lisa is right, that wallpaper is beautiful, and really creates amazing inspiration for this nursery. I ADORE the lighting that Lisa used throughout the room – each and every piece, especially the Syro Chandelier. It is like a glam light fixture and baby mobile all in one. I can just picture baby girl watching it with joy! I also love that there is NO skimping on the art. Perfect!

Thank you SO much, Lisa, for this gorgeous nursery. It would certainly bring on the “sweet dreams!”

I am having so much fun with this series. What fun to be planning a nursery in a time when the choices are endless, gorgeous and flexible! My girl’s design board may be done already, but the GORGEOUS ideas just keep coming! Thank you to all you amazing gals for such great designs.
