INSPIRED TO ::
- design a gorgeous coffee center, of course!
- always plan for the ‘stuff of life’ in my design.
- make rituals beautiful.
- think about the details when working on cabinet design.
- remember that my house is here to serve me; I am not here to serve my house.
- enjoy that one cup of morning coffee slowly.
- note the beautiful display of the top coffee center, and note the more realistic display of the lower coffee center. Both are inviting, beautiful and practical.
- Preserve and guard Saturday mornings with my life!
- go greige!
- go refill my cup…
So. What does this picture inspire you to do/feel/create/think…… I would love to know!

I love the idea of a coffee center. We kinda have one…unfortunately, it happens to be in the same area of the kitchen counter where my husband dumps all his “stuff” and empties his pockets every day.
I love the idea but don’t want one because we grind our own beans. Those pretty nooks look like too much trouble to keep clean of grounds and drips!
My parents have the most amazing and super expensive Italian Espresso machine and I have been dreaming of one ever since.
But it’s so not going to happen since you could pay for a small vacation instead for the price of the machine!
Love it a lot though!
Yes and yes!!!! Enjoy that coffee each morning!!! I just wish my kitchen was big enough to have a special place for a “coffee center.” My favorite part of this post is the cabinet colors! Last summer I painted my cabinets in a similar griege shade! I often question…”did I make the right color choice?” When I see photos like this it confirms my decision! Now I just have to save up for new countertops and make that decision!
Love this inspiration. Even though I may not have space for a fancy coffee center, I want to make the ordinary things special and beautiful. Off to think!
