Images of :: Gown Gorgeousness

What can I say?  I have been getting my girly girl on lately {thank you SO much for all of the SWEET love on my girl’s nursery design. You know how to lift the spirits of a very pregnant girly girl, I tell ya!!}.

Does fashion inspire your interiors?  When I look at my Signature Style Board, I see that glamorous fashion has definitely shaped my style over the years:  The lush textures and sheens. The flowing fabrics and ruffled waterfalls. The ribbons and buttons. The details, embroidery and hem work. I love it all in fashion,

and I see it play out in the details of my home: nail-heads, gilded finishes, lush velvets, silk pillows, ruffle trim, grosgrain borders.

I don’t see a single reason why fashion adoration should not help to shape our Signature Styles.

Feast on the gown gorgeousness.

  • Oh I love the gown with the lace top, pale blue skirt, and belt! That’s my fav! I guess that means I’m not real “out there” in my design taste or color scheme. Classic but comfy, and ocean-y neutrals.

  • Oh my swoon-ness! I love your Thing for the Runway pinterest board and have repinned a couple things from it like the fuschia Georges Hobeika. I also love the red Marchesa! They are over the top gorgeous. But the first gold one and the one with the lace top and light minty skirt are two that I would definitely wear!

  • #1!!! Nothing more comfortable and sexy than a skirt and sweater. And this pair…wow…bling, beauty and sophistication. The skirt’s flow. The clutch and cuffs. I want to wear this soooo badly:)
