sing new york new york

Inspired To :: sing New York New York. Hail a cab. Remember that day and never forget. Wear Red, White, and Blue like I mean it. Love the land of the free. Strut some platforms that are Star Spangled. Sing “I’m proud to be an American,” regardless of how tacky of a melody it may have. Think about the skyline I once knew… the one I grew up looking at in awe. Listen to the honk of taxi cabs like it is music. Be thankful.

  • This makes me want to go on a trip to a big city and go shopping for some new shoes.

    I didn’t know you grew up on New York! That must have been something else. Thanks for the reminder about today, to remember and never forget.

  • The picture inspires me to be brave and wear heels every once in a while – since I’ve become a mom, it only happens when I really dress up! It also inspires me to grow my hair out and highlight it again, but that probably won’t happen… 🙂 We’re headed to NYC this year for the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day parade, so this pic gets me pumped for that. It will be our first time to NYC with a little one!
