I meant to, I really did.
And, I promise. It won’t be long before I share inspiration and pics from our Russia trip. But I took over 2,000 pictures… and I have a lot of work to do! hah!! So, I will have to borrow someone else’s pictures for inspiration today.
I have really been enjoying my Inspiration Color Pinboard lately, and I just had to share some of the amazing color combinations that I think would completely rock your decor.
Pick out one of these color schemes that makes you swoon, and
GO FOR IT!!!

What an amazing array of colorful combinations. I confess I love color. But, what surprised me, was that as I was scrolling through the images my eyes were continuously attracted to the shades of taupe with the pinky drapes and accents. Something about that space was so warm and inviting. I’m not one to decorate with pink…yet I love this!! And without the pink that room would, for me, be visually boring. I might wear clothing in shades of taupe, but I wouldn’t have a room of them. Again….a pink scarf would liven the outfit.
And the floral bouquets…gorgeous!!
That was fun Darlene!
I’ll still be watching for a bit of Russia 😀
I, too, was surprised by how MUCH I loved that pic! I think I love the fact that the pink has a ballet slipper feel.
I also think that room is SO well balanced, which also pulls the eye in. It is an EXCELLENT example of how to use a “punch color” well.

I’m loving all of the navy featured, especially with the golden greens and white, but the second to the last picture has me swooning over the kelly green drapes against the slate walls. Beautiful!
Darlene, I am heavily considering painting my door a bright color. All of these pins are swoon worthy.
This Friday at Decor To Adore I will host the premiere post of “Friday’s Favorite Pin”. It’s a new linky party where everyone posts their favorite pins.
I would love for you to add this wonderful post to the party.
