So, tomorrow is the big Turkey Day.
I love Thanksgiving, because is is low on materialism, high on family, and big on food. What’s not to love.
SO, as you are preparing to set your Holiday table, I just had to share the spreads of two of my most favorit-est bloggers ever.
I love these girls because they have BIG personality and guts and laugher. I am pretty sure I love them both to death. We could all use lots of personality, guts, and laughter, no? I think so.
Without further ado, wouldn’t you love to set your table like Angela does?
or like Edie does?
I know. I know. They are brilliant. And I am pretty much going to have to adopt them.

I won’t be posting on Thanksgiving, so I want to wish all of you the most wonderful and blessed and happy and yummy of Thanksgivings! I will see you here on Black Friday, to share a wonderfully yummy shopping morsel with you!
Until then, I had to leave you with some decorating inspiration, of course. Of a dining room, of course. A funky one. I’m thinking you would need to put sequins on your turkey at this table. Love. It.
{This room is a part of FHD’s “ A Room I Love” series….just a simple hello, from me to you, featuring a Room that I Love, and a quick list of why I love it. Do you love it?}:

WHAT I LOVE:
- magenta Platner chairs. oh yes.
- brown and cream zig zag. I am a fan.
- a furry, feathery, white chandelier. adoration.
- pretty books all in a row.
- white ceramic accent pieces; en masse.
- a ceiling medallion. Maybe not for everyone, but I love them.
- the glossy, wooden, round table.
- that very cool art thing on the table. the perfect place to prop your turkey.
DO YOU LOVE IT?? WHAT DO YOU LOVE? Would you dare to get this funky?
Happy Thanksgiving, friends!!!
I simply LOVE the idea of having a combined Library/Dining Room. Wish I’d thought of that when we were remodeling. It’s such a smart use of space. While I’m not that daring in my home decor, I would absolutely “ditto” a table setting similar to Edie’s. It IS brilliant!
IT really IS a great idea, especially since both of those types of rooms can go underused. Combine them!
Any ideas where Edie got those orange and white clover print plates????
I am sorry, elizabeth! I don’t know. You can hop over to Edie’s blog to connect with her though. The link is in this post.
Thanks for your comment!
Hi! I love all the books! Wowza there are alot of them! 🙂 Happy Thanksgiving to you as well! Enjoy 🙂 Ps. I’m glad I’m not the only one whos facebook is not working on their site! What is wrong with that site…..it’s always disappearing from my blog 🙁
love your tablescapes… found my way here by edie’s fb page. now i’m afraid i have to go clear off my dining room table before i set it… 🙂
happy thanksgiving to you!
Oh, my, Edie’s table makes me soooo happy! Thank you for the mention of our simple spread. The apple pie is baking as I type and the pumpkin pie is cooling. 🙂
Happy thanksgiving to you and your beautiful family! I am thankful that I know you in real-deal life!!! Love you!
Love you too, sweet girl! Hope your day of Thanks is wonderful!!
Happy Thanksgiving Darlene. The table settings are beautiful and I will definitely be using Edie’s design at Christmas.
Thanks Pru!! Sending Thanksgiving love across the “Pond!”
The second one is amazing, way out of my classic comfort zone but I’d love to try something like that.
