Don’t you just LOVE this “Cozy Couch Beautiful??”
Today’s ditto | a room I love post features a sofa that I have lovingly nicknamed, “cozy couch beautiful.” In this family room, designed by Phoebe and James Howard, that gorg sofa definitely steals the show. But, there are plenty of other amazing things packed into this comfy corner that is worthy of loving and crushing.
{Ditto | Room I Love posts demonstrate a great exercise for you as you continue to develop your own personal style: using your own favorite pictures, and making a quick list of what you actually love about the space. If you study what you love about a space, it helps you to bring what you LOVE into your own home!}
Enjoy this stunning space, the “cozy couch beautiful,” and the quick “ditto” list of why I love it.
So. Do you love it?:

WHAT I LOVE {What I would ditto!}:
1. That cozy couch beautiful of course? Why so amazing? Four things: 1. velvet, 2. Bold color, 3. tufting, and 4. A custom fit to fill up the space with cozy.
2. Amazingly styled bookcases {See my top, simple tips for styling a bookcase}. These beautifully designed shelves are a fantastic example of all the tips I shared! I approve ; )
3. That coffee table! I would not be able to go with glass in my home. But lucite would make a stunning alternative for ditto-ing.
4. The design of placing a bookshelf directly behind a sofa. And I mean directly. This is such a cozy approach. And how nice to just grab a book from over your shoulder!
5. The GORGEOUS rug! I am completely in love with its bold presence! {here’s a collection of some of my fave rugs}
6. I wish I could see more, but I am loving that table and chair that is parked right next to the sofa. Board game anyone? Or care to sit and take notes with a fave book?
7. Books. Books. Books. I also love that there are gorgeous ones at the ready on the coffee table. This looks like an amazing place to curl up and read.
8. Real art takes center stage. ALWAYS ditto-worthy.
9. A room is never fully dressed without the monochromatic bunch of flowers that make the room pop alive. And yellow! The PERFECT choice as a contrast to all of the blue. This room would simply not be the same without that yellow bouquet.
DO YOU LOVE IT?? WHAT DO YOU LOVE? WHAT DESIGN ELEMENTS WOULD YOU DITTO IN YOUR OWN HOME? DO TELL!!!!!!

That “cozy couch beautiful”! We are looking for a wrap-around for our great room that is functional (will fit tall guys stretched out) and is GORgeous (and make me happy). ohoh, as well as “affordable”! there lies the challenge. Love this space, very hobbit-ish, only with light!
I absolutely love this couch. Is it for sale somewhere? This is a beautiful and comfy space
